This test enables the welded part to undergo flattening deformation to check its strength. If the specimen can withstand the specified deformation without cracks, the inspection is qualified. (Fig. 1 and 2) Fig. 3 is a completely squashed specimen without cracks and breakage.
This test expands the tube to 1.2 times the outer diameter. As shown in the photos below, there is no crack in the flaring part.
There is no crack in the welded part or the base metal after flanging test.
The chemical composition of raw materials and added materials for welded pipes is analyzed by chemical analysis to ensure that chemical components meet the standards.
Water pressure test is carried out on a durable pipe by tube. Under the specified pressure value and prescribed time, the pipe is not leaking and not leaking.
The industrial corrosion resistant steel pipes shall be tested for corrosion between steel pipes and welds by standard method or the corrosion method agreed by both parties. There shall be no tendency of intergranular corrosion.
Nondestructive flaw detection
Eddy current or X ray inspection is used to detect the industrial corrosion pressure pipe to ensure that the internal structure of the weld and steel is compact, free of pores, inclusions and micro cracks.
